Warranty Information
Our Product Warranty
Watch Smoke Alarms have a service life of 10 years under normal use. According to Australian Standards, smoke alarms must be replaced after 10 years from the manufacture date.
Watch Smoke Alarms are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ten (10) years from the manufacture date. Please note that Watch Smoke Alarms are designed to connect only with other Watch smoke and heat alarms. Connecting them with alarms from other brands will void the Watch warranty and likely the warranty of the other brand as well.
Equipment Installation Compliance
For any Watch Smoke Alarm’s 240v range, ensure compliance with National/State Electrical Codes and any local state legislation requirements.
Cable sizing must adhere to AS/NZS 3000:2018 wiring regulations, with a minimum of 1.0 mm² 250 V as required by state regulations.
Interconnection cables on alarms must be SDI cable. Using 4-core or aircon wire will void the warranty.
